marquez is pathetic. parading himself in front of the philippine media proclaiming himself as the real king of the ring does not make him any better. it not only strips him of the remaining pride in his ego, but also diminishes his value as an athlete. go and have a rematch with pacquiao if that will make you happy. he should at least pay some respect to the people of the philippines and be thankful of the hospitality that he experience. whether it is his intention to stir up the people’s hearts to push pacquiao to fight him again or to just fulfill his vain attempt of claiming back his title, he is pathetic.
any person who cannot accept defeat (of course considering several factors and the judges’ decisions) is a loser. to put it simply, ang pikon, talo.

I agree. My Dad's also affected with the news (especially sa Internet) proclaiming Marquez as winner. Well, the judges made their decision about it and of course, it's FINAL.
Maybe the Mexicans still think that he's the BEST, but then, the universally-accepted fact is that.. Pacquiao won their fight.

and about marquez, is this the one when he went into the philippines? if it is, then yeah, i agree. such a loser. lol. i mean, i could accept it as a joke when he taunted manny for another battle, but speaking of it again and again (on TV, on radio, on newspapers) seems too much.
accept the truth, isn't that simple? oh, wait. it isn't. hahaha.
You cannot really blame him. Aside from the fact that he thinks he should have won, everybody else tells him the same thing.
In fact, even Philippine boxing analysts say that Marquez should have won.
He should have shut up but well, he is just proclaiming what everyone else is saying. :)
i am no boxing fanatic. but i hope that manny pacquiao lose all of his title. his ego and boastfulness is way beyond the over board going into politics, showbiz and what not.
